General
Is Yeonhong Bot free?
The basic TTS feature is free. Some premium features such as custom voice and higher usage quotas require a membership.
What languages are supported?
Korean, English, and Japanese are supported. The bot analyzes the text and automatically detects the language.
Can it be used in multiple servers simultaneously?
Yes, Yeonhong Bot can be used in multiple servers at the same time. Each server has its own independent settings.
TTS Issues
TTS is not playing
Check the following in order:
- Check if the bot is in a voice channel (if not, use
/join) - Check if the text channel is in the TTS detection channel list
- Check if TTS is enabled in
/server settings - Make sure the bot's volume is not 0
- Check the bot's server permissions (Connect to voice channel, Speak)
A word is being read strangely
Korean special expressions or slang may occasionally be read differently than intended. Try adding a custom conversion rule with /서버 초성변환_추가, or enable the default consonant conversion preset option.
TTS speed is too fast or slow
You can adjust your personal TTS speed in the 0.5x ~ 2.0x range in /user settings. Server administrators can also change the server-wide default voice.
The bot is not reading my messages
- Check if the chat channel is set as a TTS detection channel.
- Check if the bot has permission to read messages in that channel.
- Make sure TTS is not disabled in server settings.
Server Settings
Can only admins change settings?
The /서버 group commands can only be used by server administrators. The /유저 commands can be used by all users to configure personal settings.
I want TTS to be active only in certain channels
In /server settings, configure the chat channel whitelist and voice channel whitelist so that TTS only operates in the designated channels.
I want to disable join/leave announcements
In /server settings, set read_enter_user (join announcement) and read_exit_user (leave announcement) to OFF.
Membership
How do I create a custom voice?
Upload an MP3, WAV, or OGG audio file with /membership custom-voice 추가, and AI will learn from that voice to generate a custom TTS voice. See the Custom Voice page for details.
How do I check my membership usage?
Use /membership status to see your current membership tier, expiry date, and remaining TTS usage.
Translation
How do I set up real-time translation?
Use /server translation to activate the translation feature and set the language pair. Supported directions: Korean↔English, Korean↔Japanese, English↔Japanese
